Actually quite boring...

Just finished my shawl... it looks quite boring, doesn't it? Not just the colour, but the whole thing. I guess blocking is necessary:) Which needs to be done... maybe next weekend.Working on a anniversary gift for two of my favourite family members. They both turn 70 this year, and will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, too! All in one year. Must make a quilt for that:)
Cats not included... They will be returning home to their mom this week.
Trying to use up some of the left-overs from the Hideaway quilt, the cut-offs. Its as far as it have gotten at the moment. Head is not in it at the moment, but will fortunately return:)

A post from you is never boring! Love the shawl, love that quilt you're making for your family members. And the leftovers look good too!

Hello,
I just left you an email on flickr but you probably don't check that as often as your blog. I have been looking at your Dear Jane and am in awe of your precision sewing. I'm making one, about 3/4 of the way through and have loved it ... until TR-12, Jane's Oak. It has me tearing my hair out! I have a lot of sewing experience but this one is making me crazy. I wonder if you have any tips that you could share about how you did this block. It's beautiful and as I said, your blocks are really perfection altogether. You must be very proud of that quilt.
Thanks and happy quilting.
